I was recently given a sun jar as a birthday present and I love it. It sits in my front window, which gets the sunlight during the day, and many of my neighbours have said how cosy it is to see it glowing away there after dark! I am planning to get one for the back garden now as well, and a couple more as Christmas presents.

This is really cool. i bought the sun jar. It would make a great gift for anyone especially the eco-conscious. It looks unusual, is a talking point for guests and it saves on electricity. I might get a few more and make a feature of them. You can even use them outside as they are waterproof.

This has a very nice feel to it (proper frosted glass, not plastic, and a satisfyingly chunky lid). The glow is orangey, so it's no good for reading etc. but would be really nice to just give some general lighting when outside in the evening at the end of the day, or in a conservatory/garden room

This is brilliant! I got mine a few months ago, nifty delivery! It says it ONLY lasts 5 hours but I've had it going strong all night. I use mine in bed and bath mostly but sometimes I turn the lights off and gaze at it for hours! I got the Moon Jar, I love it's cold nocturnal glow, shame the Sun's not blue!

Love this product!!! It lasts a good long while when fully charged, and adds a gorgeous ambient effect to a room. I use mine instead of a bedside light for a subtle glow, so its economical too! So simple, yet very effective and charming.

I finally got round to buying one of these sun jars and I am not disappointed. It looks great when it lights up and is a welcome addition to any room. Charging is no problem, even with the lack of sun lately and it will glow for several hours from full charge. Also there is a switch under the lid that allows the jar to be turned on and off. My only problem would be the clown that packaged the jar. They thought it was a good idea to glue the polystyrene packaging to the top of the jar, but I suppose nobody's perfect.
